8.30am – 10.00am
National Portrait Gallery Tour
Cost: $30
Your morning commences with a coach transfer to the National Portrait Gallery for a private tour which will focus on collection highlights, including works of representations of individuals who have influenced or contributed to the shaping of Australia as a nation and as a society.

Transfer back to National Convention Centre for the Opening Ceremony commencing at 10.30am.


1.30pm – 4.00pm
Bonsai Presentation, Tour & Afternoon Tea – National Arboretum
Cost: $70
The afternoon will involve a visit to the famous National Arboretum for a 1-hour tour involving a bonsai tree styling presentation and walking tour of the National Bonsai & Penjing collection. The collection consists of over 80 bonsai and penjing trees and forest displays).  Afternoon tea will be served on the terrace overlooking the beautiful Canberra Discovery Garden.

Accompany Person’s Lunch (including guided tour of Floriade)
Cost: Included in Accompanying Persons Registration Fee

We have organised a special adventure for you – this includes; a ferry/coach transport, guided tour of Floriade, lunch at one of Canberra’s picturesque Estate’s and a guided farm tour of olive groves, fruit orchards and market gardens.

This is a special event you will not want to miss!!!


Highlights of Canberra Tour/War Memorial Lunch/Glassworks tour
Cost: $100

Get ready for a full day highlights of Canberra tour, including a visit to Australia’s leading centre for contemporary art, craft and design! The tour commences with a visit to Mt Ainslie, where you will take in the picture-perfect view of Canberra including Lake Burley Griffin and many of Canberra’s national attractions. Next stop is the National Capital Exhibition before we journey through the Parliamentary triangle. 

On conclusion of the highlights tour, we will visit Poppy’s café at the War Memorial. This café gives attention to the Memorial’s serene grounds – just the spot for some quiet reflection.

The afternoon concludes with a tour to Glassworks, including a visit to the art gallery and exploring the Power House (one of Canberra’s first heritage listed buildings which has been refashioned as a glass making studio). Enjoy a live presentation and commentary of hot glass making!

Transfers to and from the National Convention Centre are included
