Ian Dickinson is an orthopaedic surgeon in Brisbane and has practised across the breadth of orthopaedic surgery. His main clinical interests have been orthopaedic oncology and reconstructive surgery, and his current major medical interest is in medico-legal matters.
Ian is a past President of AOA and past VicePresident of RACS, and his focus in both roles was on professional standards. He has also contributed to teaching and mentorship at three universities. He has been invited to lecture at a wide range of meetings, has achieved extensive peer-reviewed publication and serves on a number of journal editorial and review committees. Ian enjoys travel, opera, golf and spending time with his family.
